In-House Advocacy For Children / Childcare

Wilson Browne have specialist in house advocates who can, if available,  represent you at court in child dispute matters.  In-house advocates can appear in court alongside barristers in children matters.  This is very normal practice in the family courts.

Sometimes we will instruct a barrister to represent you in court, but you may feel more comfortable with a member of our own dedicated team being with you at court and undertaking your advocacy.  Certainly, there are advantages to having a solicitor who knows your case representing you at court and we will look at your specific needs and discuss options and availability with you should you find yourself having to attend a court hearing.

Our advocates have many years of experience in representing clients in the court arena and are specialist in children matters.  They have represented clients who seek contact with a child, who are seeking to have a child live with them, parents who seek to relocate or want a Specific Issue Order as well as in complex child abuse and injury cases.
