Natural England have published their “Monitor of Engagement with the Natural Environment” report for 2018 to 2019 including analysis of changes in survey responses since the study began ten years ago.
Of note is the increase in public concern about damage to the natural environment and reduced biodiversity. Marian Spain, Interim Chief Executive of Natural England, said “Natural England is committed to restoring nature by working with partners and the public to help deliver [the] Government’s 25-year Environment Plan”.
