The Wilson Browne team visit the Farm Business innovation Show
Reasons to choose Wilson Browne
The Farm Business Innovation Show, held at the NEC in Birmingham over two days, is the UK’s only exhibition dedicated to diversification for farmers and rural landowners. It is run in partnership with the Country Land and Business Association (the CLA).
There are a range of exhibitors there to discuss income-generating opportunities beyond traditional farming, such as agritourism, renewable energy, direct sales, and showcasing the latest innovations and ideas for farm businesses looking to thrive in challenging times.
There are also a range of seminars, panel discussions, and hands-on workshops, designed to provide attendees with practical advice and solutions.
This year’s seminar topics included matters such as a Q & A session discussing the changes announced in the Autumn Budget; solar farms and battery storage opportunities; nature tourism; Biodiversity Net Gain; glamping; public footpaths, to name but a few.
It was a great opportunity for partners Kirsten Rimmer and Ika Částka, along with trainee Kiran Gill, to network with other professionals active in the agricultural and rural economy, speak to businesses serving the sector and to hear from speakers on current topics around diversification.
