Homelessness Code of Guidance Consultation

The Government has launched a consultation for local authorities on the proposed Homelessness Code of Guidance for Local Authorities.
The consultation opened on 16 October and is open until 11 December 2017.
The consultation is part of the Government’s response to the implementation of the Homelessness Reduction Act which comes into force in April 2018. The intention is to provide updated guidance to local authorities on how they should exercise their homelessness functions and apply the legislation in practice
