Employment Team Administrator- Northampton

We have a fantastic opportunity for an Employment Team Administrator to join our Northampton office.

You will be supporting the fee earners in our Employment Team with their administrative, organisational and audio typing tasks. They are a busy and successful Legal 500 recognised team, and they cover a diverse range of work for both employer clients and employees.

Responsibilities:

This is a full and busy role and will include the following:

  • Preparing correspondence and documents for the team’s fee earners
  • File openings and closures across a range of areas.
  • General file administration including dictation, checking inboxes/ portals, writing file notes and invoicing.
  • Corresponding with clients and booking meetings.
  • Collating and printing documents for meetings.
  • Writing up team meeting minutes, agenda and diarising key dates for the team.
  • Supporting other members of the team and liaising with other business areas within the firm.
  • Responding to general enquiries and assisting with the day-to-day work of the Employment team.

The ideal candidate will be accurate, work well as part of a team and have excellent administrative, organisational and client care skills. This role could also be an excellent opportunity for an ambitious person who has a passion for Employment Law.

Legal Secretary (Private Client) - Leicester

A Legal Secretary is required to support the Private Client team at our Leicester office. The work will involve support for a busy and dynamic team making Wills, lasting powers of attorney (LPA’s) and administering estate and trusts.

Tell me more about the role….

This is a full and busy role and will include the following:

  • dealing with enquiries from clients;
  • making appointments;
  • preparing precedent letters;
  • scanning and filing;
  • conducting AML checks;
  • completion of Will and Lasting Powers of Attorney documents, under instruction;
  • task specific jobs including making phone calls, preparing distribution paperwork and general client communications;  
  • filing paperwork;
  • secretarial support using digital dictation;
  • retrieval and deposit of Strongroom documents

Requirements

Although previous experience in these areas of work would be desirable, other suitable candidates will be considered as full training will be given.

 

We are looking for a team player with excellent client care skills, an abundance of common sense and empathy for elderly, vulnerable and bereaved clients. A strong team ethic, attention to detail and a passion for working with others is essential!

Residential Conveyancing Administrator – Leicester

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Conveyancing Administrator to join our busy Residential Conveyancing team, based at our Leicester office.

This is an exciting opportunity, and the successful applicant will ideally have some experience of working within a busy residential property team, although this is not essential. You will also be IT literate and committed, ideally with a previous working knowledge of using case management systems.

Responsibilities…

This is a full and busy role and will include the following:

  • Supporting the Leicester Team.
  • Dealing with initial paperwork.
  • Issuing draft contracts.
  • General administration.
  • Dealing directly with clients, estate agents and lenders.
  • Supporting other members of the team whenever possible.
  • Post completion responsibilities including the submission of SDLT and Land Registry applications.

Requirements

You will have the ability to confidently manage your own workload, prioritise effectively, have excellent communication skills and be a team player. Some residential conveyancing experience is preferred and the ability to work within a busy team is essential.
